An innovative website named BlogRush offers a free tool by which bloggers can attract quality targeted traffic to their blogs. To participate, all one has to do is go to the BlogRush website and register by providing basic information about the blog such as the blog name, URL and RSS feed location. To attract targeted traffic, the blog owner must select a blog category that best matches the registered blog.

After providing the necessary information, BlogRush generates blog specific code, which must be installed prior to registration approval. After the code is installed, team members visit the registered blog for a manual approval. BlogRush takes its service seriously and manually approves blogs to prevent low quality, bogus blogs from joining their network.

Once the blog is approved, there is nothing left to do except select the widget, size and color that best matches the blog. The widget displays and links to the most recent blog post from similar subject blogs within the BlogRush network.

How BlogRush Works

BlogRush operates on a page impression for credit system. Blogs earn one credit every time the widget receives a page view. For example, if blog A generates 200 page impressions a day, then the latest post for blog A will be displayed in 200 widgets on similar blogs within the BlogRush network. The widget accesses blog A's RSS feed in order to display the latest post. The mere fact of having a blog post displayed across 200 blogs increases blog A's exposure.

As enticing as that sounds, BlogRush builds on the exponential possibilities of referrals. If blog A refers blog B and blog B installs the widget on it's blog, then blog A earns credits from the page impressions from both Blog A and Blog B. If blog B refers blog C, then blog A earns credit from all three blogs. This process continues ten generations deep. Therefore, blog A continues to earn page impression credit from blog A through J. Not bad for a free tool.

Why BlogRush Works

BlogRush works well because blog A's posts only appear on blogs within the same subject category. The likelihood of attracting a click through back to blog A from a member blog increases if the topics are similar. Just think about it. What is the likelihood of a reader clicking on a diaper ad when viewing a website about power tools?

BlogRush is a free tool that takes approximately ten minutes to setup and install. Bloggers with compelling blog post titles stand a good chance of increasing traffic to their blogs. Once it's installed, all one has to do is blog.
